Principle of Operation

The system uses a flexible linear heat detection cable installed throughout the protected engine compartment. This cable continuously monitors temperature and is connected to a control panel. When the temperature reaches a preset level (typically 180°C or 138°C), the detection cable sends a signal to the control panel.

The control panel then activates the solenoid valve, releasing the extinguishing agent through a network of discharge pipes and nozzles directly onto the fire hazard area. Simultaneously, an alarm is triggered, and a signal is sent to the vehicle control system to shut down the engine, reducing fire intensity and preventing further escalation.
